We want to keep a deserving local veteran warm this winter with a new gas furnace. We’re looking for active military members, veterans and surviving spouses in need. We have teamed up with our local York Distributor and the Hanover American Legion Post 764 to find a deserving member of the military community. Houston will provide the labor and material to install the new furnace while York will provide the furnace.
Winners will be announced on November 28th.
Entry Requirements
- All qualified applicants must have a valid military ID or form DD214 (whichever applies.)
- Nominees must own a house in Licking County or within the service area of Houston Plumbing & Heating. (Rentals and campers do not qualify.)
- Nominees must need a new furnace. (Houston Plumbing & Heating must inspect the furnace.)
- No purchase is necessary to enter.
- The new furnace will be an 80% or 95% LP or natural gas furnace or an electric air handler. No extended warranties are included. Excludes: Geothermal, Boilers, Fuel Oil, other types of heat sources such as wood or gas fireplace.
- Two Individuals will be selected.
- You do not need to be a member of The American Legion to be considered in the Heat for Our Heroes by Houston.
- Winners must be willing to engage in an interview and pictures.
- Houston will conduct the selection of winners and access their house/equipment.
- Labor Warranty: One-year, original owner only.
- Parts Warranty: Ten-year factory parts coverage.
- Houston’s will determine if there are additional costs prior to agreement.
- Houston Plumbing Employees and family are not eligible to win.
- Winners must agree to terms and conditions prior to installation.
